It was a great joy to meet the community here in Luxembourg! Familiar paths, old friends, an (unusual) historic campus, great talks, and new encounters. Plus, a band „whose audience puts on a better show than they do“ — What a hoot!
particularly enjoyed panel F12: Epistemological Tensions in the History of Machine Learning with presentations by William Lockett and Daniele Shlomit SofeR!
Overall, the presentations I saw outside of that were also really exciting! however, the main focus was on the technical side. the connection to social, political, economic or epistemic dimensions could have been emphasized a bit more for my taste. But you can’t say everything in 15 minutes… :0)
